Alphapointe Plastics: Manufacturing with Meaning
The impact of Alphapointe is that we’re not just providing products – we’re here to provide possibilities.
In fact, for every pharmaceutical bottle we produce, every innovative, patented tactical medical device that we create and manufacture, the office products and the services we provide all do something transformative: that someone with vision loss is able to have a purpose, support a family, and contribute to their community.
Currently that means nearly 200 people who are blind or visually impaired have meaningful employment.
And one of our biggest divisions is our Plastics Department, which serves healthcare, nutraceutical, and packaged product companies throughout the United States.
“We’re here to produce products of the highest quality made to spec for a variety of companies,” says Alphapointe Vice President of Sales, Tom England. “We’ll help them diversify their supply chain to protect product inventory while also helping them amplify a positive company culture.”
Products you can trust, and a purpose you can feel
Bringing employment opportunities to people who face multiple barriers to getting hired is just one part of the Alphapointe story. The products we make also change lives on the other end. Our life-saving tourniquets have been deployed by first responders and military personnel to save people during emergencies.

Our pharmaceutical bottle caps are another product that has the power to impact people on a personal level. Each day, Romia Hall – who was blinded after being attacked – prints 270,000 of those caps, each embossed with the suicide prevention hotline phone number on it. Those caps are used on medicine bottles that go out to veterans across the country with the reminder that help is just a three-digit phone call away.
It’s a lifeline that isn’t lost on Romia. “I know what it’s like to be in that dark place and now I feel like I am doing my small part to help give someone a second chance,” Romia says.
Romia isn’t alone. He’s one of many people at Alphapointe who dedicate themselves to making quality products while also understanding the impact they have on others. Each one is a ripple that moves outward and touches lives far beyond the boundaries of Alphapointe. Or our city.

At the end of the day, the high-quality products you’ll find at Alphapointe are a reflection of the men and women working here who are blind or visually impaired. Each brings focus, skill and determination to everything they do and everything they create. And the details you’ll find in the Defender and Illuminator reflect their commitment to turning impossible into possibility.
